Metcalf was originally scheduled to fight Dina Thousland in her first major fight on MVP Promotions under Jake Paul, but Dina had to pull out due to pregnancy, and another world champion, Sugar Neekz, quickly stepped up.

 

Before the fight, I had a chance to catch up with Metcalf. She shared her thoughts on some other high-level female fighters like herself and shared some of her story with me.

Metcalf born in Dallas, Texas, on October 28, 1984. She fought in underground street fights prior to her professional boxing career.
